We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with more than 5 years experience in paediatrics to join our team across Shenton Park and Hillarys. This role is suited to a confident, autonomous clinician with robust expertise in School Aged Services, who is ready to take on clinical leadership, caseload management and the supervision and upskilling of junior and new graduate occupational therapists.
Key responsibilities
Manage an autonomous, complex paediatric caseload across Shenton Park and Hillarys (billable target 5 hours per clinic day)
Demonstrate specialist skills meeting senior competencies across School Aged and Early Intervention clinics, with capacity to contribute across Early Intervention, Feeding, Complex Care, Gender Diversity and/or Mental Health clinics
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and upskilling to Level 1 team members and new graduates
Plan, prepare and run workshops for the MDT, practice team, families and community
Complete projects and contribute to resource development for the practice
Develop independent community relationships and seek potential WKH partnership opportunities
Contribute to planning and delivery of marketing, social media and advertising material
About you
Over 5 years clinical paediatric experience OR completed postgraduate study in paediatrics with a minimum of 3 years in paediatrics/specialist area
Strong clinical background in School Aged Services is essential
Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
