We are looking for a qualified Electrician residing in Melbourne to join our Crane Services team.
The role will support our clients throughout Victoria , as well as mine sites, refineries and other customers across surrounding states TAS / SA / NT , with regular work in Melbourne to work alongside our broader team.

The Role
Your work will include:
- Inspecting, servicing and repairing overhead cranes and hoists
- Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs
- Working with motors, control circuits, contactors, VSDs and associated equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Developing mechanical knowledge of cranes and lifting equipment
- Preparing job reports and repair recommendations
- Working directly with customers across VIC / TAS / SA / NT, refinery sites and mine sites
- Regular travel interstate to work with our wider Crane Services team
What We're Looking For
You'll need:
- Australian recognised electrical trade qualification
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Good electrical fault‑finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Robust commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work overtime when required
The following would be an advantage:
- Overhead crane or hoist experience
- Industrial electrical experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Working at Heights Certificate
- EWP High Risk Work Licence
- Dogging and or Rigging Licence
Crane experience isn't essential. We're looking for a good electrician who is interested in broadening their skills and developing experience in a specialised area of the trade.
