Growth Marketing Lead Dasher Acquisition
Location: Sydney and Brisbane, Australia
Contract type: Permanent, full‑time.
Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience.
The role exists to change how customers buy, not only to sell to them. You report to the Head of eCommerce, not to a sales manager. This position owns a portfolio of several hundred existing customers you are to contact, grow their spend, and shift them onto an online ordering platform. The division is focused on testing and building new technology and digital transformation.
What you'll do
- Run a proactive call cycle across a portfolio of several hundred existing customers.
- Build and run your own campaigns in Klaviyo (or Mailchimp, HubSpot) by segmenting on buying behaviour, region, opportunity, and write the copy yourself.
- Use campaign data to decide where your time goes, prioritising accounts that open emails and require a call.
- Onboard customers onto the ordering platform and walk them through their first orders personally.
- Prepare quotes using the online quoting tool and follow them through to order.
- Service by phone customers who will never buy online, because forcing everyone down one channel loses them.
- Re‑ignite dormant accounts that have gone quiet through lack of contact.
- Report on what is working, what is blocking adoption, and where the platform needs improvement.
What you'll bring
- Two or more years in a commercial role with real time spent on the phone – SDR, BDR, inside sales, account management, customer success or agency account handling.
- Hands‑on experience with an email platform such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or HubSpot, including building segments and writing copy.
- Comfort making outbound calls to warm accounts and the discipline to do it consistently rather than in bursts.
- CRM literacy and the ability to pick up new systems without being walked through them.
- Commercial instinct: you look at an account and see where the growth is.
- Product training will be provided; candidates from FMCG, SaaS, agency,
media, or any consultative B2B environment are encouraged to apply.
Who this role is for
Nobody has done this job before, so the way it gets done is partly up to you. The split is roughly 80% sales and 20% marketing.
This role is not for you if:
- You want a pure marketing role with no revenue responsibility.
- You want every process defined before you start.
- You would quietly avoid outbound calling.
- You need a large team around you to stay motivated.
Why you'll love working here
- A clear growth plan – this function is set to expand as the customer portfolio widens and is a recognised route into a much larger organisation.
- You own the portfolio, campaign calendar, and the tool set outright, rather than working someone else's list.
- Direct access to the general manager, who is personally invested in this role.
- A business that builds its own technology rather than buying software.
- Engagement scores in this division landed above group benchmark again this year.
We have a culture of ownership, agency, and continuous growth. Versatile working arrangements and a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity are embedded in our values.
Diversity & Inclusion Statement
We are an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and welcome candidates who identify as a part of an under‑represented group. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported. Acknowledgement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is part of this commitment.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive salary and performance‑based bonus in line with market.
- Superannuation, details subject to experience.
- Flexible working arrangements – hybrid model with a mix of office and remote days.
- Employee wellness and health programmes.
- Professional development budget and tools.
- Clear career progression and growth opportunities.
Applicants are invited to demonstrate their skills through a case study of a marketing initiative. No preliminary CV screening is required.
