We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused operator who has experience working in a chemical manufacturing setting and is confident handling raw materials and operating a forklift.
Key Requirements
- Operating a forklift to safely transport and load raw materials into hoppers.
- Experience as a Blender, Batcher, Process Operator or similar in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely handle and work with soda ash, citric acid and SMBS (sodium metabisulfite) .
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to accurately measure, batch and blend raw materials according to production requirements.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and safety instructions.
- Physically capable of handling materials and working in a production environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Immediate Start
7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Weighing and batching raw materials.
- Operating blending and processing equipment.
- Operating a forklift to safely transport and load raw materials into hoppers.
- Handling and transferring chemical materials safely.
- Moving raw materials and finished products around the production area using a forklift.
- Completing production records and documentation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Following all site safety, quality and environmental procedures.
