About theRole
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused FieldHarvest Driver to join our team.
The primary purpose of this role is to collectharvested fruit from field chariots and transport it to the packing shedefficiently while maintaining the highest possible product quality. You willalso work closely with the Chariot Supervisor to monitor and replenish pickingsupplies throughout the day.
Please note that some duties may involvephysical work, including standing, walking, repetitive movements, lifting, andworking in varying weather conditions.
KeyResponsibilities
- Ensure chariots are fully stocked with picking materials, includingpunnets, boxes, and sorting trays.
- Monitor supply levels and replenish stock as required.
- Visit allocated picking crews throughout the day to collectharvested fruit.
- Load fruit onto trucks in accordance with company procedures.
- Transport fruit carefully to the packing shed while preservingproduct quality.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding collection frequency basedon harvest volumes and picking rates.
- Accurately record fruit quantities collected from each crew.
- Work with Field Supervisors to resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide accurate end-of-shift production summaries to the PackingShed and Field Harvest Manager/Coordinator.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Drivers licence or CurrentMR Licence (or higher) - (desirable but notessential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuraterecord-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- The ability to work outdoors in varyingweather conditions
- Solid time management, planning, andorganisational skills
- The ability to work independently and followdirection when required
- A commitment to workplace safety and qualitystandards
