LALDAS PTY LTD (ABN 70 683 388 267), trading as Signarama Frankston, is an Australian private company operating a professional signage business in Seaford, Victoria. The business provides customised signage, graphics and visual communication solutions, including the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range of commercial signage.

Signarama Frankston is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Signwriter to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + 12% superannuation

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Consult with clients and interpret signage requirements, designs, drawings, sketches and job specifications.
- Design signs, lettering and graphics using computer software and sign-making equipment.
- Measure and calculate dimensions, lettering sizes, spacing and layouts for signage projects.
- Prepare surfaces for the application of signage, lettering, graphics and vinyl.
- Cut, prepare and apply vinyl lettering, decals and graphics to a variety of surfaces.
- Fabricate and assemble signs using materials such as acrylic, metal, plastic, timber and other suitable signage materials.
- Paint signs, lettering and designs on metal, timber, glass, plastic and other surfaces using appropriate paints, lacquers and application equipment.
- Produce and apply vehicle signage, graphics and wraps where required.
- Manufacture and assemble three-dimensional signs and related signage components.
- Produce and work with a variety of commercial signage, including illuminated signs, indoor and outdoor signs, window signage, building signage and wayfinding signs.
- Install completed signage at client premises and other locations.
- Operate and maintain sign-making tools, machinery and equipment.
- Inspect completed signage to ensure accuracy,



quality and compliance with job specifications.
- Prepare estimates for materials and labour required for signage projects where required.
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and replacement of existing signage where necessary.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements during signage production, fabrication and installation.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant qualification in Signwriting, Signage or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Signwriter or in a similar signage role.
- Robust practical skills in signage production, fabrication and installation.
- Experience with vinyl cutting and application, signage materials and surface preparation.
- Experience using sign-making machinery, tools and relevant graphic/design software.
- Ability to interpret drawings, designs, measurements and job specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to undertake on-site signage installation as required.
