One of Australia's high profile Federal Government departments is looking to engage experienced Lead / Senior ICT Security Engineers to support the secure delivery and ongoing management of existing and emerging ICT capabilities operating in highly secure environments. The successfulexperienced Lead / Senior ICT Security Engineers will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Lead / Senior ICT Security Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Under direction from the Deputy Director, manage and develop IT system security activities.
- Achieve Authority to Operate (ATOs), previously referred to as Security Accreditations.
- Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and System Security Plans (SSPs).
- Write supporting documentation in support of Executive briefs to senior management with a view to seeking approvals.

The successful Lead / Senior ICT Security Engineers will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated experience leading security engineering activities for complex ICT systems,



including the implementation and assessment of security controls to achieve and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation in secure environments.
- Demonstrated experience conducting security risk and threat assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and documenting residual risks within government or enterprise ICT environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, review and maintain security accreditation documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), risk assessments, security briefs and executive approval documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with ICT engineers, project teams, cyber security practitioners, accreditation authorities and senior stakeholders to achieve security outcomes and project milestones.
