Delivery Centric is seeking a Senior Java API Developer with strong MuleSoft experience to design and develop enterprise APIs, microservices and integration solutions usingJava, Spring Boot and MuleSoft . Experience in the financial services domain is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop, enhance and supportMuleSoft / Anypoint Platform integrations and APIs
- Build scalable, secure and resilient integrations across complex enterprise environments
- Contribute to API-led connectivity and microservices architectures
- Develop API specifications, models and supporting technical documentation
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and code reviews
- Work with architects and technical teams on solution design and enterprise integration patterns
- Integrate applications acrosscloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-driven delivery
- Contribute to legacy modernisation and migration towardsAPI-led and cloud-native architectures
Primary Technical Requirements
- Strong commercial experience withJava 8+
- Strong hands-on experience withSpring / Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft / Anypoint Platform
- Experience developing MuleSoft APIs, integrations and workflows
- Experience with MuleSoft API-led connectivity and integration patterns
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with Swagger / OpenAPI and Postman
- Understanding of API security, governance and integration best practices
- Robust understanding of enterprise integration patterns
- Experience within financial services / banking
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Messaging and event-driven architectures
- API management platforms and enterprise middleware
- SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
