Bolton Gems is looking for a confident, energetic and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our Brisbane team. You'll manage and grow a portfolio of existing jewellery retailers while actively looking for opportunities to increase sales and develop new business.
Key responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with our existing wholesale customers
- Proactively contacting customers and identifying sales opportunities
- Following up quotes, enquiries, current ranges and customer requests
- Picking, presenting and selling gemstones, diamonds and finished jewellery
- Introducing customers to new collections, promotions and special buys
- Developing new wholesale accounts and re-engaging inactive customers
- Working with our sales representatives and internal team to maximise opportunities
- Helping customers with enquiries relating to repairs, custom makes and special orders
- Maintaining accurate customer notes, follow-ups and sales activity
- Working towards achievable sales targets and KPIs
About you
- Genuinely enjoy selling and achieving results
- Confident picking up the phone and starting conversations
- Build rapport easily and enjoy developing long-term customer relationships
- Proactive rather than waiting to be given your next task
- Have strong follow-up skills and don't let opportunities disappear
- Organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple customers and enquiries
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team
- Comfortable being accountable to sales targets and KPIs
- Experience in jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, luxury goods, wholesale or B2B sales would be highly regarded, but it isn't essential
