Our clientis a well-established landscape company delivering high-quality commercial and civil landscaping and maintenance projects across Sydney.
They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Leading Hand to join their growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong background in parks and gardens, horticulture or commercial landscape maintenance who can lead a small team while remaining actively involved on-site.
About the Role
- Lead and coordinate a team across commercial landscape maintenance sites
- Carry out hands-on gardening, horticultural and general maintenance duties
- Ensure maintenance works are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
- Allocate daily tasks and provide direction to maintenance crews
- Liaise with clients and site contacts professionally
- Identify and report maintenance issues and ensure they are addressed appropriately
- Operate landscaping equipment and machinery as required
- Assist with pruning, mowing, hedging, planting, turf and general garden maintenance
About You
- Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Senior Gardener or experienced Maintenance Supervisor
- Cert III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture or similar qualification highly preferred
- Strong commercial landscape maintenance experience
- Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on
- Reliable, skilled and committed to delivering quality work
- White Card
- Current driver's licence
