JOB OPPORTUNITY

This is a genuine Business Development and Territory Sales role for an experienced construction equipment salesperson who knows how to find opportunities, build relationships and close deals.

You will take responsibility for developing the Construction Equipment customer base across Newcastle, the Mid North Coast and the Hunter Valley.

The role will focus heavily on new business development while continuing to build strong relationships with existing customers across the territory.

You will be dealing directly with:

- Earthmoving Contractors
- Plant and Equipment Hire Companies
- Infrastructure Businesses
- Mining-Related Contractors




- Quarry and Major Project Customers
- Large Equipment Owners and Fleet Operators

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop new business across Newcastle, the Mid North Coast and the Hunter Valley
- Identify and pursue new equipment sales opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting through to delivery
- Conduct regular customer and site visits
- Identify fleet replacement and expansion opportunities
- Present equipment solutions to customers
- Negotiate commercial terms and close equipment sales
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM
- Work closely with Parts and Service to deliver a complete customer solution

He is looking for a true performer, not someone who simply talks themselves up. We need a proven performer who can demonstrate real results, will work harder than anyone else in the business and will strive to be Number 1 in the team.

Previous sales experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, JCB, Volvo, Kobelco, Liebherr, SANY, XCMG, John Deere or another major equipment manufacturer or dealership will be highly regarded.

THE PACKAGE

- Base Salary: $100,000 per annum
- Company Vehicle: Provided
- Superannuation: Paid in addition
- Total Guaranteed Remuneration: $160,000 + Super + Company Vehicle

This is a genuine $160,000 guaranteed package before super and vehicle, with the opportunity to earn more through performance.
