Job Description
The Company Western Plains Windows & Glass is a locally owned and operated business based in Dubbo, New South Wales, with over 20 years of experience providing window, door and glazing solutions to residential and commercial customers. The company specialises in the manufacture, supply, installation, repair and replacement of aluminium and timber windows, doors, shower screens, glass splashbacks, balustrades and security screens.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of glass products, including windows, doors, and custom glass fittings. This is a full-time position, offering stable employment and the opportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the local community.

What You’ll be Doing

- Install shopfronts, windows, doors and other glazing systems.
- Measure, cut and install glass products for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Repair and replace broken or damaged glass.
- Perform maintenance on existing glass installations.
- Manufacture commercial windows and doors as required.
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations and manufactured products.




- Prioritise workloads and maintain work schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Assist other workers and coordinate with the team to complete projects efficiently.
- Follow work orders, drawings and other relevant paperwork.
- Provide customer service and recommend suitable glass products and solutions.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe worksite.
- Attend site inductions and toolbox talks and comply with WHS requirements.

What We’re Looking for

- Formal qualification in Glazing or a related trade – desirable
- Minimum 2-3 years' hands-on experience as a Glazier
- Strong technical skills in measuring, cutting, and installing various glass products
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
