About the Role

This role involves travelling across the region to support multiple clients in their homes and within the community. You will work a combination of short and long shifts, providing hands‑on, client‑focused support tailored to each person’s needs.

A major part of this role includes domestic household cleaning such as:

Bathrooms and toilets

Vacuuming and mopping

General hygiene and safety tasks

You will also provide:

Community access support: shopping, transport, appointments, outings

Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, continence support

Medication reminders

Meal preparation

Social and respite support

This is an active, physical role suited to someone who enjoys meaningful, practical work and supporting others to remain independent.

Generous travel allowances – be compensated for the distance you cover

Earn $43.23/hr after completing your Cert III in Individual Support

Work–life friendly schedule – 20–38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–7:00pm

Weekend shifts – potentially available

Certified online training – completed before you start

Support to complete Cert III in Individual Support – conditions apply

Salary packaging benefits – up to $34,100 tax-free , plus standard tax-free threshold

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, person-centred care with professionalism

Deliver domestic assistance – aim to complete 3–4 services daily (cleaning, laundry, hygiene tasks)

Be travel-ready – drive between multiple clients each day

Support health routines – medication prompts, medical appointments

Prepare meals – cook or assist with simple, healthy meals

Support transport and social connection

Encourage participation and engagement in daily activities

Maintain safe environments – follow WHS and infection control procedures

Requirements for the Role

NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)

Blue Card – Working with Children (mandatory)

First Aid & CPR Certificate (mandatory)

Open Australian/QLD Driver’s Licence (required)

Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance (required)

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)

NDIS Orientation Module & supporting certificates

Driver Authority Card (eligibility through TMR)

Medical Health Assessment

AFP National Police Check (ref 3162)
