The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role where no two days will necessarily look the same. You will support the wider Finance team across a combination of finance administration, reconciliations, AP/AR support, reporting, documentation and process coordination.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing shared finance inboxes, allocating queries and following up outstanding actions;
- Supporting purchase orders, commitments and supplier set-ups;
- Supporting intercompany invoicing and ensuring relevant documentation is maintained;
- Assisting with accounts payable invoice processing, including PO, GRN, coding and approval checks;
- Preparing supplier statement reconciliations and assisting with invoice discrepancies;
- Coordinating finance records, templates, procedures and checklists;
- Assisting with supplier and credit applications; and
- Providing general administrative support across the Finance function as require.

About You
This role would suit someone who has started their career in finance and is now looking for an opportunity to expand their experience and take on a broader range of responsibilities.
You may currently be working as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer or Finance Administrator, or have experience in a similar commercial administration role.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous experience in finance administration, AP, AR or a related finance environment;
- Strong attention to detail and sound numerical ability;
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;
- Intermediate Excel skills;
- Experience working with an ERP system is desirable;
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders; and
- A genuine interest in developing your finance career.
Experience with systems such as SYSPRO, Eftsure, Adobe Sign or document management platforms will be advantageous, but is not essential.
