We're looking for Freight Coordinators to join our growing Brisbane Airport team. If you enjoy staying active, working with a great crew, and being part of a fast-paced operation, this could be the role for you.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

- Load, unload, screen and pack air cargo safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and airside vehicles in accordance with safety procedures
- Coordinate the movement of freight throughout the cargo terminal
- Process freight documentation and complete system updates accurately
- Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
- Conduct equipment checks and assist with general warehouse housekeeping

This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the position.

Working Hours

AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.



Following your training period, you will work across a rotating roster. Shift start times may be as early as 4:00am.

This role is ideal for someone who:

- Is available to work weekends and overtime when required
- Values flexibility over a traditional Monday to Friday routine

About You

We're looking for reliable, safety-focused team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on setting. The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous warehouse, logistics, freight handling or aviation experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- The ability to perform physically demanding work, including regular manual handling
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overtime when required

Required Licences

- A current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport
- A current LF Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
- The ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC

Employment will be subject to successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and police check.
