MTA Institute (MTAI) is one of Queensland's leading automotive industry training providers, delivering high-quality apprenticeships, traineeships and workforce development solutions that support individuals, employers and the broader automotive sector.

MTAI is seeking a highly organised and proactive Program Administrator to support the delivery of strategic learning, capability and technology initiatives across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating projects, working with stakeholders, improving systems and ensuring quality outcomes. You will play a key role in supporting learning and capability projects, maintaining governance and reporting processes, and assisting with the management of learning technology platforms and vendor relationships.

Working closely with the Director Strategy and Capability Growth and the Learning Design and Capability Lead, you will help deliver initiatives that contribute to the ongoing growth and success of MTAI.

About the Role

As Program Administrator, you will act as the operational coordinator for a range of projects and business initiatives, ensuring activities remain aligned to agreed priorities, milestones and deliverables.

You will support initiatives such as:

- Learning and capability projects
- Training package and qualification transitions
- Assessment and resource redevelopment projects
- Learning technology improvements
- Learning and student management system enhancements

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the delivery of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, trackers and reporting documentation.
- Monitor project progress and elevate delivery risks where required.




- Support the administration and continuous improvement of learning and student management systems.
- Investigate, test and validate system issues and coordinate resolution activities.
- Manage help desk requests and liaise with software vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, work instructions and support materials.
- Monitor project deliverables and reporting against agreed outcomes.
- Support risk, issue and change management processes.
- Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and organisational requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Solid organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and follow-up capability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, registers and reporting documentation.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), education or other regulated environment.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or learning technology platforms.
- Experience coordinating software vendors and service providers.
- Experience supporting projects, programs or business improvement initiatives.
- Experience administering business systems and technology platforms.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their practical application in the workplace.
