About Our Client
Our client is a leading underground coal mining operation committed to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining practices. They are seeking experienced Development Electricians to support underground operations and development activities within a high-performing team environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Carrying out installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on underground mining equipment
- Supporting underground development operations and infrastructure
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on mining equipment and fixed plant
- Completing preventative maintenance and statutory inspections
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with site safety standards and legislative requirements
- Working closely with production and maintenance crews to minimise downtime
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reports
What You Will Need
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical Licence
- Proven underground coal mining experience (essential)
- Previous experience as a Development Electrician highly regarded
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Current Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
