This is a permanent part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2027 Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. The Role





We are ideally seeking a dedicated and conscientious Health and Physical Education Primary Teacher who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The successful applicant will ideally be actively engaged in both the school and wider community, display a reflective approach to their teaching practice, and use evidence-based strategies to inform planning and differentiate learning. A capacity and willingness to lead or contribute to the development and delivery of whole-school programs and priorities will be viewed favourably. The successful applicant should possess strong professional knowledge, effective teaching practices, and experience in delivering engaging, student-centred programs. Ideally, you would have success working with students across a range of ability levels, including in multi-age or split-year group settings. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external networks to foster positive community partnerships, will be highly regarded. You should be enthusiastic, proactive, and open to innovation, with the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative team environment. As a valued member of our teaching team, you would be expected to implement effective, engaging,



and innovative learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and contribute to whole-school approaches and planning in collaboration with colleagues.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website .
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
