About the Role
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurses who have a passion for providing service excellence and would like to join our busy orthopaedic/urological surgical ward.

About You
Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards
Experience working within a fast‑paced surgical ward
Committed to continuous quality improvement
Committed to provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
Ability to work flexible hours
Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $40.15 -$54.90 per hour).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to medication safety protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes accurately and reporting promptly to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with Australian health regulations and privacy laws.
- Participate in ongoing career development and training.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based practice and its application in patient care.
