This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension and/or permanency Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. The School Carcoola Primary School (PS) is located approximately four kilometres north of Pinjarra. The school, which still manages to retain a 'country' feel, is part of the South Metro Education Region and Murray Waroona Network. We are a small school with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that prioritises the individual needs of students. Carcoola PS promotes a safe, caring and happy environment where students recognise and strive to achieve their potential and develop the skills and attitudes to become lifelong learners.

The Role
We are ideally seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Teacher who is committed to high-quality,
evidence-based practice and achieving strong outcomes for all students. Applicants who have an understanding and experience with PLD, Heggerty, Minilit and Macqlit will be highly regarded. As a Positive Behaviour Support school, we value teachers who are Classroom Management Strategies trained, display a positive growth mindset and work constructively with other educators. As a small school, collaboration and team fit are particularly important to us. We are ideally looking for an Early Childhood Education Teacher who values working closely with colleagues, contributes positively to whole-school initiatives and is willing to share expertise, seek feedback and support others. The successful applicant should build strong relationships with students, staff and families and see themselves as an active member of the broader school community, not simply their individual classroom.

Eligibility
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
