Our client is a well-established Australian food manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality food products supplied to customers across Australia.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy food manufacturing team. The role involves operating machinery and assisting with daily production.

- Monday to Friday
- 2 - 4 weeks training: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM at $33.85/hr + Super
- After training: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM at $38.93/hr + Super
- Ongoing casual role with a view to permanency

You will complete 2 - 4 weeks morning training before moving to the afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food products according to recipes, batch specifications and production schedules.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.




- Operate and monitor cooking and production equipment.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, times and product quality.
- Complete quality checks and production records.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and GMP requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised production area.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitising equipment.
- Work with the production team to meet daily targets and requirements.

About You

- Previous experience in commercial cooking, food production or food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
- Able to follow recipes, procedures and batch instructions accurately.
- Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
