The Role
Vinnies Housing is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Officer to strengthen our operational controls and support the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality housing services.
Reporting within the Housing division, this role provides practical assurance that legislative, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements are understood,
applied and evidenced across our operations. Working closely with leaders and teams across Service Delivery, Asset Management, Leasing,
Business Sustainability and other Housing functions, you will help embed a strong culture of accountability, risk management and continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality or compliance professional who enjoys working collaboratively with operational teams, conducting reviews, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring issues are effectively resolved.

This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) based in our State Administration Office in South Brisbane .
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in compliance, quality assurance, operational auditing, governance, community housing, human services or a related field.
Experience reviewing operational records, controls or service processes against defined legislative, contractual, policy or programme requirements.
Strong understanding of evidence, documentation and quality-control principles, with high attention to accuracy, consistency, privacy and detail.
Ability to interpret requirements, assess materiality and risk, and write clear findings and practical recommendations.
Strong analytical,
investigative, organisational and record-management skills.
Confidence working constructively with managers and operational teams while maintaining appropriate independence and objectivity.
Ability to manage a planned review programme alongside emerging priorities and exercise sound judgement regarding escalation.
Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy, mission and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland, and ability to work in accordance with its policies and procedures.
