Language Disorder Australia is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to help maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors at Mancel College.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a school workplace.
About the role
You will help ensure the college remains clean, hygienic and well presented by:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, staff areas, toilets and shared facilities
- Completing routine cleaning and hygiene tasks
- Conducting cleaning inspections and reporting issues
- Safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Identifying and reporting hazards and maintenance needs
- Maintaining a welcoming and well-presented environment
- Working in accordance with WHS and school procedures
About you
You will bring:
- Experience in commercial, school, healthcare or similar cleaning environments
- An understanding of cleaning and hygiene standards
- Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- A reliable, proactive and positive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
- A C Class Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
