East Coast Diesel Service is a well-established Contract Maintenance and Labour Hire company. We're seeking 20 skilled Diesel Fitters for long-term FTE (Full Time Equivalent) 7/7 roster positions across our Bowen Basin sites, in both Workshop and Field roles.

THE ROLES & RATES:

Field Fitters – Excavator / Drill / Dragline

In-pit breakdowns, servicing and maintenance on excavators, drills and draglines

Employees: up to $90/hr flat rate + Super & Black Coal LSL + Ute + Travel

Subcontractors: up to $109/hr + Ute Allowance + Travel

Ute allowance (own mine-spec compliant ute, when required):

Employees: up to $120/shift

Subcontractors: up to $130/shift

5+ years' experience on Hitachi Excavators , drills or draglines required

Component change-outs, rebuilds, servicing and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile equipment

Employees: from $74/hr flat rate + Super & Black Coal LSL + Ute + Travel

Subcontractors: from $90/hr + Ute Allowance + Travel

Ute allowance (own mine-spec compliant ute, when required):

Employees: up to $120/shift

Subcontractors: up to $130/shift

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Proven experience in the mining or heavy equipment industry,



with a robust understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics and mechanical systems

Coal Board Medical (desirable)

Willing to undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol screening

Positive attitude and motivated worker

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Enthusiastic and ready to showcase your BEST!
