Halliday Shores Retirement Village is seeking an experienced, friendly and reliable independent hairdresser to provide hairdressing services to residents from our established onsite salon. The salon is located within Halliday Shores Retirement Village and is already fitted out for hairdressing use. The successful applicant would operate independently, with residents booking and paying the hairdresser directly. The current arrangement involves the hairdresser attending the village two days per week, currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are open to discussing suitable days and hours with the successful applicant based on resident demand and availability.

Key responsibilities

- Provide hairdressing services to retirement village residents
- Manage your own appointments and payments
- Operate your own business independently
- Provide a broad range of hairdressing services suitable for both women and men

About you





- Appropriately qualified and experienced in hairdressing
- Hold current public liability insurance
- Have your own ABN
- Comfortable working with older clients
- Reliable, qualified and personable
- Experience working with older people or within retirement living, aged care or community settings would be an advantage but is not essential

Halliday Shores Retirement Village is an established retirement community with more than 300 residents located at Hallidays Point / Black Head, NSW. The village offers a friendly retirement village environment and provides support from Village Management in communicating availability and contact details to residents.
