In aged care, meals matter. They’re often one of the highlights of the day. We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Catering Assistant to join our catering team at Hardi Aged Care Guildford , where you’ll be supported by our experienced kitchen team.

This is a casual position , with shifts available across Monday to Sunday . We’re looking for someone with flexible availability who can work across a range of shifts as required.

You’ll assist with basic food preparation, serve meals and snacks to residents, assist with stock control and deliveries, and support trolley service. You’ll also help maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

And there’s one thing we can’t get away from – dishwashing and clean-up! A clean kitchen is a well-run kitchen.

About You

You may already have experience as a Kitchen Hand, Catering Assistant or in a similar hospitality role,



or you may have completed a Certificate II or III qualification in Hospitality.

You’ll also bring:

- A friendly, positive and can-do attitude
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- A genuine respect for and comfort working with older people
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
- Availability across Monday to Sunday, including weekends
- Willingness to assist with all kitchen duties, including cleaning and dishwashing
- Willingness to obtain all required checks and meet relevant aged-care employment requirements
