Licensed Builder - Home Modifications (NDIS / Aged Care)

Be At Home is not a typical building company, and this isn't a typical builder role.

We're a technology-driven startup rebuilding how home modifications get done for older Australians and people with disability. The industry is slow, fragmented and buried in paperwork. Our platform connects occupational therapists, clients and trades to make the whole process faster, clearer and better for everyone.

We're looking for a licensed builder to be our nominated supervisor. It's a part-time role to begin with, mostly remote, with paid site visits across Sydney when your experience is needed in person.

You'll bring experience, curiosity and a friendly, patient manner with clients. We expect to grow quickly, and we want someone to grow with us.

What you'll do

Act as nominated supervisor on our company contractor licence, on everything from grab rails and ramps to bathroom remodels

Review OT reports and set the standard on scopes and quotes

Stay across progress and quality through our platform, without living on site





Be the experienced voice trades call when a job gets tricky

Get on site when it matters: OT assessments, larger works and the occasional emergency

Help shape how we work from the ground up

What you'll need

NSW contractor licence or qualified supervisor certificate (general building work). Please include your number with your application

Driver's licence and own vehicle

NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain them

Availability for calls during business hours

Nice to have: home modifications experience under NDIS or Support at Home, and working knowledge of AS 1428.1 and Livable Housing Design.
