We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Front Office Coordinator / Dental Assistant to join our specialist prosthodontic clinic in Coorparoo. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable managing day-to-day administration and has good attention to detail. You will be helping with appointments, communication and general front-office coordination. A dental assisting background would be an advantage, particularly for understanding dental terminology and supporting the clinical team when required.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, qualified experience
- Managing phone calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Taking clear and accurate notes from phone conversations
- Maintaining patient records and updating information
- Following up appointments and administrative matters
- Processing payments and assisting with general reception duties
- Supporting the clinical team and helping the day run smoothly
- Assisting with general administrative tasks as required
About you
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Clear communication and good interpersonal skills
- Good note-taking and computer skills
- A friendly, positive and helpful attitude
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a team
- Confidence learning new systems and processes
- Previous experience in a dental reception role is desirable but not essential
- A dental assisting background would be highly regarded
