St Albans Hospitality is home to some of Brisbane’s most recognised premium dining destinations, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster, Sushi Room and Sunshine.
As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an engaging and experienced Training Officer to join our Head Office team and deliver in-house training across the St Albans group.
This is a hands‑on training role focused on building the skills, knowledge and confidence of our teams through practical, engaging and consistent training.
The Role
Based at Head Office, you’ll work closely with our leadership and venue teams to understand training needs and deliver high-quality in-house learning across the business.
You’ll be responsible for:
Delivering engaging in-house training to team members across our venues.
Facilitating practical training sessions across a range of service, operational and professional development topics.
Working with managers and leaders to identify skills gaps and ongoing training needs within their teams.
Maintaining accurate attendance training records.
Supporting ongoing learning initiatives that strengthen capability, consistency and service standards across St Albans.
About You
You’re confident in front of a group, enjoy helping people develop and know how to make training practical, engaging and relevant.
You’ll ideally bring:
Previous experience in training,
learning & development or workplace training.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to deliver training to individuals and groups.
Experience within hospitality or another fast‑paced, service‑focused setting will be highly regarded.
The ability to adapt your training style to suit different roles, experience levels and learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
Strong organisation, administration and attention to detail.
Experience developing training materials, presentations and learning resources is desirable.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
