Experienced Forklift Operator | AM Roster | Coopers Plains

Precision Labour Hire is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for an ongoing opportunity with a busy steel distribution facility based in Coopers Plains. This role is ideal for reliable, safety-focused operators with experience handling steel products and operating large-capacity forklifts.

The Opportunity

- Ongoing Monday to Friday work
- AM Roster: Mon - Fri 6.00am - 2.00pm

- Coopers Plains location
- Stable prospect with a busy steel distribution facility

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate large-capacity forklifts in a steel distribution environment
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers
- Move, handle and organise steel products and materials
- Mark loads for despatch
- Complete second load restraint checks using a tablet or computer
- Assist with despatch and general computer-based tasks as required





About You

- Current Australian LF Forklift Licence
- Minimum 12 months' forklift operating experience
- Experience operating large-capacity forklifts
- Experience using probe and tyne forklift attachments
- Background in steel, transport, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Computer confidence, including using tablets or systems for checks and despatch tasks
- Reliable transport and a dependable work ethic

Steel industry experience, including steel coil handling and the use of probe or tyne attachments, will be highly regarded.
