We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established commercial builder delivering a new build school project. This is an 18–24 month contract opportunity offering long term project stability, accommodation provided and LAFHA available for eligible candidates.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities
- Managing site-based construction activities from start to finish
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour
- Driving programme and short-term planning activities
- Managing site safety, quality and compliance requirements
- Conducting toolbox talks, site inspections and subcontractor coordination meetings
- Working closely with the Project Manager to achieve key project milestones
- Maintaining strong stakeholder and client relationships on site
About You
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
- Experience delivering education, government, health, community or large-scale commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of site safety, quality and programme management
- Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills
- Trade or tertiary construction qualifications highly regarded
- Full Australian working rights
