Core Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a busy workshop team based south of the river.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Electrical Fitter looking for a strong hourly rate, consistent day-shift hours and ongoing work with a reputable organisation.
The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, testing and assembly of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Testing and commissioning electrical equipment
- Electrical fault finding, repairs and maintenance
- Servicing and rebuilding pumping equipment
- Diagnosing faults and assessing required repairs
- Inspecting returned equipment and identifying damage
- Reading and following workshop manuals
- Completing servicing and maintenance documentation
- Preparing equipment for customer delivery
- Occasional field servicing and repairs
- Working safely and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Experience working with electric motors from 240V – 1000V
- Solid electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with pumps, machinery or similar equipment
- Ability to assess and scope repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in mining, construction, heavy industry or equipment rental will be highly regarded.
What's on Offer?
- $65 - $68 per hour
- 6am – 3pm Monday to Friday
- Overtime available depending on business needs
