Claims Administrator – Third Party Recovery & Hire Car Operations

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Claims Administrator to join our Recovery & Hire Car Operations team at Car Accident Replacement Solutions in Clayton, Victoria.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing claims while also supporting the day-to-day hire car operations .

You will play a key role in ensuring:

- High-quality customer service at all times
- Smooth coordination between customers, external parties, and internal teams
- Accurate and efficient handling of claims and vehicle movements

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage and processing recovery claims, including liaising and negotiating with our valued clients and their representatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for claims and rental transactions
- Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor outstanding claims and proactively follow up on recoveries
- Assist with general administrative and operational duties as required
- Coordinate and oversee hire car operations , ensuring a seamless customer experience
- Conduct vehicle check-in and check-out , including customer handovers and inspections
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in insurance / administration or a similar role




- Strong customer service focus with the ability to engage professionally and confidently with customers and external parties.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written communication, and strong data entry accuracy
- Experience in face-to-face customer interaction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (experience with accounting systems such as Xero is advantageous)
- Willingness to learn | You’re eager to build knowledge of insurance, settlements, recoveries, and claims processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet daily deadlines
- A reliable, organised team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Multilingual speaking highly regarded due to our client base
