Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

Warehouse staff participate in all warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse staff responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, checking, invoicing, receiving orders, general warehousing, operating forklifts and working in a cool room environment. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Would prefer forklift license but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (unload, check, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers




- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and your colleagues
- Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met
- Other duties as assigned

Competencies and experience required:

- Sound computer skills
- Familiarity with up-to-date warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Minimum experience 3 years warehousing
- Able to work undependablyUnderstand and demonstrate the importance of WHS
