About the role:
- Make a real difference. Deliver evidence-based social work that helps patients and families navigate the social, emotional and practical challenges impacting their wellbeing.
- Grow your clinical confidence. Build your experience, develop your clinical judgement and take on increasingly complex situations with the right support and supervision.
- Share, support and collaborate. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team,
provide psychosocial advice and help mentor students and less experienced social workers.
- Help make care better. Get involved in education, professional development, quality improvement and shaping the practices and processes of the Social Work service.
About you:
- You have a Social Work degree and are eligible forAASW membership. Newly qualified applicants awaiting conferral or registration are welcome to apply.
- Understand social work practice, social systems, legislation and policy, with the confidence to manage your workload and work autonomously.
- Solid communicator who can collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, build relationships and confidently advocate for patients and families.
- Keen to learn, contribute to research and professional development, improve services and help develop the next generation of social workers.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.97 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
