We make premium custom curtains, blinds and tracks for homes across Melbourne's south-east. We've brought blind and track manufacturing in house and demand for our curtains is growing, so we're adding a casual to our small production team. We are adaptable with work hours and work with you if you have other commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Measure and cut fabric to spec
- Learn to operate industrial sewing and overlocking machines
- Hem, join, weight and finish curtains
- Assemble roller blinds and tracks
- Press, fold and pack finished work ready for install
About you
- Accurate with measurements and able to follow a written spec
- Steady hands and patience for precision work
- Reliable: our install calendar depends on it
- Happy to be shown a method and stick to it
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20kg
- Available consistently during the week, ideally three days together
- Any sewing background helps — domestic, clothing, upholstery or soft furnishings — but it isn't essential.
