Lead the survey function on one of Western Australia's most significant infrastructure projects. McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Survey Manager to lead all surveying activities on the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project.

This is a key leadership role within the project team, responsible for overseeing survey operations, maintaining project-wide survey control, managing survey resources and ensuring accurate, timely survey outcomes that support safe and efficient construction delivery.

Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers and delivery teams, you'll provide technical leadership and strategic direction across a complex transport infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy for Perth.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead and manage all survey activities across the project lifecycle
- Establish and maintain project survey control and governance systems
- Manage survey teams, subcontractors, equipment and resources
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and construction teams
- Oversee set-out, verification and as-built survey delivery
- Ensure quality, compliance and survey outcomes support construction programmes and project objectives

What we're looking for

- Proven experience leading survey teams on major civil infrastructure projects
- Strong technical expertise in construction surveying, control networks and as-built delivery
- Ability to manage survey resources, priorities and project outcomes
- Collaborative approach working with engineering and construction teams
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills




- Relevant surveying qualification; road, rail or transport project experience highly regarded
