BM Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our growing team, with a robust focus on custom and high-end residential HVAC installations across Melbourne.
This isn't a role doing the same basic split-system install every day. You'll work across architecturally designed and custom homes, installing premium air-conditioning systems where quality workmanship, presentation and attention to detail matter.

This isn't a role doing the same basic split-system install every day. You'll work across architecturally designed and custom homes, installing premium air-conditioning systems where quality workmanship, presentation and attention to detail matter.
The Work
You’ll be involved in:
- Custom and high-end residential HVAC installations
- Ducted reverse-cycle systems
- Multi-split systems
- Bulkhead and concealed systems
- Ceiling cassettes
- Linear slot diffusers and custom air distribution
- Premium wall-mounted split systems
- Outdoor unit positioning and presentation
- Refrigeration pipework, drainage and commissioning
- Working from plans and coordinating with builders and other trades
- Occasional service, repairs and fault finding
We primarily work with premium brands including Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin .
We're Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick licence
- Victorian driver's licence
- Strong installation experience
- Excellent refrigeration pipework and finishing skills
- Ability to read plans and work on custom builds
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in producing clean, professional installations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication with builders, supervisors and clients
Experience with ducted systems, zoning, AirTouch, bulkheads, linear slot diffusers and high-end residential projects will be highly regarded.
