Job Description

The opportunity

We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Project Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role will provide administrative and project support to the Process Operations Department, assisting with the successful delivery of projects safely, on time, and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional who enjoys working in a dynamic mining environment and has strong administration, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster ex-Perth.





The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Provide administrative and project support to the Process Operations leadership team
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring activities
- Compile and maintain project progress, budget, and resource reports
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and track actions
- Maintain project records, quality assurance documentation, and filing systems
- Produce and distribute project documentation and reporting data
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and shutdown personnel regarding project requirements
- Support purchasing and supply activities for the Process Operations department
- Maintain personnel records, leave administration, and department databases
- Administer information within ERP systems and other business platforms
- Facilitate effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative, reporting, and project processes

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

To be successful for this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in project coordination, project administration, or a similar support role
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook




- Experience using Pronto or a similar ERP system
- Strong report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
- A current C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Accounts, purchasing, or invoicing experience will be highly regarded
