Plus Fitness Blaxland is seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated person to join our team in a casual Membership Sales and Reception position.

We are a welcoming, community-focused 24/7 gym located in the Lower Blue Mountains. We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive and supportive workplace where members of all ages and fitness levels feel comfortable and valued.

About the role

This varied position combines membership sales, customer service, reception duties and general gym administration. You will be one of the first points of contact for members and prospective members, helping create a positive and professional club experience.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome members and visitors to the club
- Respond to telephone, email and social media enquiries
- Conduct club tours and explain membership options
- Follow up leads, appointments and membership enquiries
- Assist prospective members through the joining process
- Complete membership administration and maintain accurate records
- Process payments and assist with general account enquiries
- Build positive relationships with members
- Support member retention, referral and promotional campaigns
- Complete regular gym-floor and facility checks
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and presentable club
- Enforce club policies in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the Club Manager with general administrative tasks

About you

The successful applicant will be:

- Friendly, confident and approachable




- Comfortable speaking with new people and discussing membership options
- Motivated by achieving individual and team sales targets
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Confident using computers, email and basic administrative systems
- Professional when managing questions, complaints or sensitive matters
- Passionate about health, fitness and helping people
- Willing to contribute to a supportive and positive team culture

Qualifications and experience

Previous experience in customer service, reception, administration, retail or sales is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to the right applicant.

Personal training or fitness qualifications, industry experience and a current First Aid certificate would be advantageous.

Availability

Applicants must have flexible availability for casual shifts between 8:00 am and 7:30 pm on weekdays , with Saturday availability desired.
