About the Role

As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant you will provide personalised home care support to older Australians inthe Geelong area , helping them continue to live independently in their own homes.

You will travel between multiple clients homes acrossGeelong and surrounding suburbs , so ability to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed $1.01 per KM travelled while you are working).

We have casual and permanent part-time opportunities available with shifts offered throughout the week. Applicants must be available to work across a flexible range of days and times.

Key Responsibilities

- Domestic duties which may include but are not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, washing dishes,



cleaning surfaces, emptying bins, washing/ironing
- Personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
- Transportation and community access to medical appointments and social activities
- Provide support with daily tasks and routines
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families

Skills & Experience

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar
- An Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
