MTS is a multidenominational evangelical organisation that exists to raise, train and resource healthy gospel ministry trainers as they multiply gospel workers through ministry apprenticeships. Learn more about MTS here .

The Impact

- Since 1979, 3,850 men and women have completed apprenticeships through MTS in Australia, going on to serve in local churches and ministries.
- Over 1,250 gospel workers are currently serving in the field as a result, with many more coming through theological college right now.
- In 2026, 161 trainers are investing deeply in 202 ministry apprentices, across a variety of church denominations and para-church organisations.
- In recent years, MTS has sharpened its strategic focus on raising, training, and resourcing healthy gospel ministry trainers — men and women actively engaged in a local table of fellowship, ongoing formation, and the trusted MTS framework. It's this kind of trainer who multiplies. In 2026, we set a goal of developing 50; we've now reached 51, with a vision to see 500 healthy gospel ministry trainers across Australia by 2030.
- Globally, MTS provides varying levels of support to 32 countries.

Role Purpose

The Systems & Payments Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the systems and processes that underpin MTS's Trusted Framework. They ensure the accurate, reliable administration of payments, donations, and the digital platforms MTS relies on day to day.

Working closely with the Head of Operations & Pastoral Development and Registrar, this role upholds the good processes that keep apprenticeship administration running smoothly, while also supporting the Donor Relationship Manager in the accurate administration of donations, appeals, and general giving. The role holder ensures that the financial and technical foundations of MTS' work are well maintained, so that trainers, apprentices and donors can rely on accurate, timely and well-administered systems.

The role holder brings diligence and a keen eye for detail across every part of this role — payments, systems, and everything in between — taking ownership of recurring processes and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Given the breadth of this role, discernment to prioritise well across a range of ongoing and seasonal demands is essential, along with a willingness to be a reliable point of support across operations and donor relations.

Why Work at MTS

MTS exists to bring about, under God, multigenerational gospel impact — seeing gospel work momentum created in cities, regions and nations globally. We raise, train and resource healthy gospel ministry trainers through fellowship, formation, and our trusted framework so that this mission continues for generations to come. The trainers we're forming are marked by being Christlike, trusted, and courageous — and it's this same posture we look for in everyone who joins the MTS team.

Reflecting a recent strategic pivot, MTS set a goal in early 2026 to develop 50 such trainers, and reached it on 14 August 2026, with 51 trainers now meeting this standard. The vision continues: by 2030, MTS is aiming to develop 500 healthy gospel ministry trainers across Australia, multiplying not just apprentices, but the trainers who form them.

Working at MTS Head Office means joining fellow brothers and sisters in Christ on the same mission, where every staff member plays a unique role in sustaining that work — approaching it all with a spirit of joyfulness, prayerfulness, and thankfulness in all circumstances (1 Thess. 5:16–18).

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which Anglican churches, schools and organisations meet and serve
from the Hawkesbury River south to Ulladulla and Sutton Forest, and west to the Blue Mountains and Lithgow.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging,
and pray that God will unite us all in a knowledge of his Son, in whom all things were created.
