Synergie is seeking a reliable Van Delivery Driver for parcel deliveries across the Emerald region
The important parts:
- Casual Grade 2 Transport Award rate of $40.60 per hour
- Day shifts (Monday to Friday) with weekly pay
- Opportunity to work independently delivering parcels throughout the EmeraldRegion
What you will be required to do:
As a Delivery Driver, you will safely load, transport and deliver parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Emerald region.
- Load and organise parcels in delivery-route order
- Complete deliveries safely, accurately and within scheduled timeframes
- Correctly record deliveries and complete all run sheets accordingly
- Provide friendly and skilled service to customers
- Follow road rules, safe manual-handling practices and workplace procedures
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold a current Australian C-Class driver licence and have a safe driving record
- Be physically fit and capable of safely lifting, carrying and delivering parcels throughout the shift – Must pass a pre-employment medical
- Have previous delivery driving, courier or transport experience (highly regarded)
- Demonstrate good route planning,
time management and attention to detail
- Have full working rights in Australia and reliable transport to get to work
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
