The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing nutritious, fresh and appealing meals for our residents, while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working as a cook, preferably in aged care, healthcare or a similar environment.
- Has knowledge of food safety and food safety-handling practices.
- Can follow recipes, menus and dietary requirements accurately.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Has a genuine interest in preparing quality meals for older people
- Has positive communication and organisational skills.
Food Safety Supervisor certification and relevant qualifications are desirable.
