Production Operators - Day and Afternoon Shift

Our client is a specialist in the Pharmaceutical industry who manufacture complimentary medicines and is highly passionate about the quality and care in their products. These positions offer ongoing hours Monday to Friday with an opportunity for permanency.

If you have previous experience in the baking industry, the production and/or mixing of food products, chemicals/paints, this is a excellent opportunity to gain a role in an industry that is secure and ongoing.

Available Shifts

- Day Shift: 5:54am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday

- Afternoon Shift: 1:54pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Friday

Your Role: As a Process Worker, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Measure and dispense ingredients, including dry and liquid materials, according to production specifications.

- Following and executing recipe instructions accurately

- Sieving and loading materials into large mixing bins

- Moving loaded bins with the assistance of another operator

- Completing essential paperwork and batch documentation

- Packing and palletizing products in a temperature-controlled environment

- Cleaning and sanitizing machines to maintain a safe workplace

- Troubleshooting and performing basic machine maintenance

- Following GMP, HACCP and workplace safety procedures





- Reporting issues to production leaders and supporting overall production effectiveness

- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials, must be able to lift up to 25kg

Physical Requirements

This role involves regular manual handling, standing, walking, bending and lifting.

Raw materials are supplied in bags and drums, generally ranging from 5 kg to 25 kg , so candidates must be comfortable with this level of manual handling.

Loaded mixing bins can weigh between 100 kg and 400 kg , however these are on wheels and are moved with assistance from a second operator.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in production, process work, dispensing or machine operation

- Experience in food manufacturing, baking, mixing, pharmaceutical or chemical environments is highly regarded

- Good attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions

- Understanding of GMP, HACCP and workplace safety

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliable and willing to work Monday to Friday

- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work

- Available for overtime when required

- Full working rights in Australia
