As the Maintenance Planner (MP) your role will be to effectively develop, plan, schedule and support the Preventive Maintenance (PM) of FRV land based fleet and associated ancillary equipment, whilst allowing for the requirements of unscheduled and Reactive Maintenance (RM) activities.

This position also has the responsibility of project managing the major mechanical services (Internal and External providers) to meet OH&S; and Plant Regulations.

Key responsibilities

- Develop, produce, monitor, improve, and update Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks and plans within the associated documation.
- Review, Plan, Prioritise and Schedule maintenance activities for FRV (Land Based) Fleet, associated ancillary equipment based on the PM plan to ensure a consistaent smooth workflow without duplication of tasks or services.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Preventative Maintenance program in line with the workshop KPI's to achieve the Organisational and Departmental strategic goals.
- Conduct regular reviews of (Land Based) equipment technical documentation and specifications through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems to ensure technical Updates / Bulletins and /or recalls are documented and flagged within the planning arrangements.
- Control and manage financial transactional systems/processes and financial risk over income, expenditure and cash flows to deliver expected outcomes, financial statements, management reports, analysis and capital project management.
- Using trend analysis techniques, identify, report and investigate common failures and issues to stakeholders such as Fleet Development & Engineering and OEM's
- Provide planning and technical advice to senior management when and as required to ensure the PM plan and Objectives are met.




- Provide assistance to Fleet Planning staff and Fleet Development & Engineering regarding the PM plan requirements and process.

About you

- Trade Qualifications (Certificate III minimum)
- Certificate IV in Planning and / Project Management
- Ideally you will have substantial experience working in a quality automotive service environment, with at least several years experience in quality automotive planning and scheduling environment.
- You should be competent in Maintenance Management (SAP) and Microsoft Office, Project and other software.
