As the HSEQ / QA Advisor at Sunshine Coast Civil Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's operations adhere to the highest health, safety, environmental and quality standards. This full-time position is based in Yandina, Queensland, and will be integral to the company's commitment to delivering projects safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

- Developing, implementing and maintaining robust health, safety, environmental and quality management systems
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and address any potential risks or non‑conformances
- Providing guidance and training to site teams on all HSEQ policies, procedures and best practices
- Investigating incidents and near misses, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
- Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on HSEQ matters
- Continuously improving HSEQ processes and systems to drive operational excellence

What we're looking for

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental management or quality assurance
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSEQ advisory or management role, preferably within the construction industry




- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSEQ management systems
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and risk assessment skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using relevant HSEQ software and data management tools
