Brisbane City

Initial fixed three-month employment contract, designed to transition into an ongoing full-time role following the successful fixed contract period.

goa Billboards is one of Queensland’s leading independent Out-of-Home media companies. We deliver high-impact billboard campaigns across Brisbane and South East Queensland and are investing in technology and AI to improve how our people sell, plan, create and operate.

We are looking for a practical, commercially minded AI Enablement & Automation Specialist to help turn that ambition into working solutions.

This is not a research role or a position focused on producing AI strategies that sit on a shelf. You will work directly with our sales, marketing, trading, operations and leadership teams to identify valuable use cases, build key AI-enabled assets and teach our people how to confidently use them.

The role will commence as a three-month employment contract. During this period, you will deliver an agreed set of priority projects, establish practical AI foundations and demonstrate measurable value across the business. Following a successful contract period, the position is intended to transition into an ongoing full-time role.

About the role

You will take ownership of goa’s practical AI enablement program.

Your work will range from building internal tools and workflow automations to improving prompts, connecting systems, documenting processes and coaching team members.

Initial projects may include:

- Developing and improving an AI-powered lead-generation and prospecting platform
- Building tools that identify timely and relevant sales opportunities
- Automating recurring sales, pipeline and revenue reporting
- Creating AI-assisted proposal, campaign and presentation workflows
- Improving prospect research and valid-business-reason generation
- Developing category, seasonal, local-event and market-intelligence feeds
- Exploring appropriate connections with Salesforce and other business systems
- Automating repetitive administrative and operational tasks
- Creating reusable AI assistants, templates, prompts and internal knowledge resources
- Build appropriate security guard rails that helps teams operate and use AI whilst ensuring company information and client data is protected.

Key responsibilities

- Work with team members to understand their roles,

pain points and repetitive tasks
- Identify and prioritise AI opportunities based on commercial value, time savings and practicality
- Rapidly prototype, test and deploy useful AI-enabled tools
- Build reliable workflows using generative AI, automation platforms, APIs and low-code tools
- Improve existing prototypes and turn them into dependable business assets
- Integrate solutions with systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365 and relevant data sources
- Develop clear documentation, operating instructions and training materials
- Run practical workshops and one‑on‑one coaching sessions
- Help employees build the confidence and capability to create their own AI‑assisted solutions
- Establish sensible standards for data security, accuracy, quality control and responsible AI use
- Monitor adoption and measure time saved, usage, commercial outcomes and other benefits
- Maintain a prioritised roadmap of future AI projects and opportunities
- Support a culture of experimentation, learning and continuous improvement

What success looks like in the first three months

By the end of the initial contract period, you will have:

- Delivered several working AI tools or automations that solve genuine business problems
- Improved the reliability and usefulness of existing AI prototypes
- Established a prioritised AI roadmap for the business
- Created a practical AI toolkit containing approved tools, prompts, templates and guidance
- Trained key team members to confidently use the solutions you have developed
- Demonstrated measurable improvements in productivity, lead generation, reporting or sales enablement
- Established appropriate AI governance, security and quality‑control practices
- Identified a clear pipeline of projects for the ongoing role

About you

You are a hands‑on problem solver who enjoys turning ideas into practical tools.

You do not need to be a traditional software engineer, but you must be technically capable,

curious and comfortable working across different systems. You can explain AI in plain language and understand that successful enablement is as much about people and adoption as it is about technology.

You will ideally bring:

- Demonstrated experience building practical solutions using generative AI
- Experience with platforms such as ChatGPT, OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar tools
- Experience with workflow automation or low‑code platforms
- The ability to work with APIs, structured data and system integrations
- Experience with CRM platforms—particularly Salesforce—would be highly regarded
- Strong prompt design, testing and quality‑assurance skills
- An understanding of data privacy, security and responsible AI practices
- Strong facilitation, training and communication skills
- The ability to translate operational problems into clear technical solutions
- A commercial mindset and the ability to prioritise projects according to business value
- The confidence to work directly with senior leaders and team members across the business
- The ability to move quickly while still producing reliable, well‑documented solutions
- Experience in media, advertising, sales enablement or Out‑of‑Home would be useful but is not essential.

Why join goa?

This is an prospect to shape how AI is adopted across an established Queensland media business.

You will have direct access to decision‑makers, real business problems to solve and the freedom to build solutions that people will genuinely use. Your work will have visible impact across prospecting, sales, marketing, reporting and operations.

You will not be joining a large technology department or inheriting layers of process. You will be helping us establish the capability, tools and ways of working that support the next stage of goa’s growth.

Applications from practical builders, AI generalists, automation specialists and technically capable change‑enablement professionals are welcome.

Only those shortlisted will be contacted.
