What we are looking for
- We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to execute and drive the ongoing improvement of our regular giving and single giving retention strategies.
- Reporting to the Senior Loyalty Manager, you will use data, supporter insights and AI-enabled ways of working to continuously improve campaigns, supporter journeys, retention outcomes and long-term supporter value.
- Combining a hands-on approach with the leadership of two, high-performing members of the team, you will collaborate across a wide range of areas, including the broader Individual Giving team,
Performance Growth and Insights (PGI), Brand, Partnerships and Technology teams.
Your day will include
- Delivering and optimising single giving and regular giving retention strategies, campaigns and supporter journeys
- Coaching your direct reports to implement integrated, supporter-centric campaigns across web, email, SMS, telemarketing and direct mail
- Using supporter feedback, research, data and sector insights to improve campaign performance and supporter experience
- Refining audience segmentation and personalisation initiatives across relevant teams
- Embedding structured test-and-learn approaches, campaign analysis and continuous improvement across retention activity
- Translating campaign reporting and supporter behaviour into clear, actionable recommendations
- Supporting the implementation of AI-enabled tools, automation, dashboards and data-led workflows
- Collaborating with the mid-value program lead to integrate mid-value audiences and stewardship considerations into retention strategies
- Contributing to the day-to-day management of budgets, suppliers, external agencies, forecasting and performance against agreed KPIs
- Supporting workload planning, prioritisation and capability development across the broader Retention team.
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in retention, loyalty or lifecycle marketing, including designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns and supporter journeys.
- Strong commercial, analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into measurable revenue, retention and supporter experience outcomes.
- Experience using CRM, marketing automation and analytics platforms (Salesforce desirable) to optimise performance,
segmentation and personalisation.
- Demonstrated capability in budget management, test-and-learn optimisation and continuous improvement approaches.
- Strong stakeholder and agency management skills
- Previous people’s management experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
