Our New South Wales team is growing, and we are looking for our next Sales Consultant to join a nationwide team.

You’ll have specialist services to sell, top tier clients to work with, and a unique offering in the market. We’re looking for someone who will make the most of that chance - actively pursuing new business, building trusted relationships and confidently winning that business.

You’ll have autonomy to manage your time and build your client base, with clear expectations around activity and follow-through. Initiative, resilience and the discipline to keep opportunities moving will be essential to your success.

About the role:

This role uses your drive for success in conjunction with relationships and technical skills. You will take ownership of building your client base, creating opportunities, identifying solutions and contributing to our pipeline of projects.

You will:

- Actively identify and pursue recent business opportunities, while developing relationships with existing clients.
- Meet clients, conduct inspections and understand their needs.
- Develop proposals and reports that provide practical, innovative solutions.
- Explain the value of our services, handle objections and confidently ask for the business.
- Build and manage your pipeline,



following up consistently and keeping opportunities moving.
- Work closely with our national team to deliver the high standards our clients expect.
- Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets.

You will have autonomy to manage your time and priorities, with clear expectations around activity, follow-through and results. Success requires initiative, consistent effort and the resilience to keep pursuing opportunities when a sale takes time or a client says no.

Travel across metropolitan and regional areas is part of the role, and a positive one. It keeps the work wide-ranging, gives you autonomy and connects you directly with the clients you’re building relationships with.

About you:

- Proven knowledge in construction, preferably roofing, with experience interacting with clients.
- A competitive mindset with genuine motivation to achieve results - you're wired to win, in the right ways.
- A track record of setting high standards and achieving results in your work.
- Confidence initiating conversations, explaining product perks, influencing decisions and asking for the business.
- A professional manner that is effective in the boardroom and on site.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with curiosity about what clients need.
- The initiative to manage your own activity and priorities, and the discipline to follow through.
- Resilience when faced with rejection, and a willingness to learn and improve.
- Reasonable computer skills for operating our systems and maintaining an accurate pipeline.
- You do not need to arrive with a finished sales skill set. You do need to bring the drive to develop one, take ownership of your performance and pursue results.
